Ms. Hillenbrand has over a decade of experience in all aspects of e-discovery. She has worked on matters involving millions of documents and those involving complex collection and preservation issues in cases involving construction, pharmaceuticals, financial documents, environmental issues, product liability and patent issues. She has managed teams of reviewers and is well versed in the determinations of privilege and the preparation of extensive privilege logs. Ms. Hillenbrand has worked closely with clients and vendors to complete e-discovery projects in a timely and cost effective fashion.
Prior to focusing on e-discovery, Ms. Hillenbrand was an experienced litigator taking many cases to jury verdict, including commercial and insurance disputes. She has experience in all aspects of civil litigation including working with witnesses, trial preparation and appellate work. Ms. Hillenbrand has appeared (on brief) before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in a case involving elections and the First Amendment.
